Founded in Kona, Hawaii, the home of the Ironman Triathlon World Championships, Zoot Sports began making performance apparel that catered to elite athletes competing in the emerging sport of Triathlon. Opening it's first store on Ali'i Drive in 1985.
First Triathlon Racesuit
A woman named Christal Nylin, who lived in Kona, noticed that Ironman athletes needed more functional gear for racing. She saw the need for a solution that would eliminate the hassle of using transitions as changing areas. Today, Zoot carries that same spirit of innovation to every swim, bike, and run product.
