The size table measures the waist and the hip but they keep the last lower 2 inches the same size as the thighs and usually they are sightly smaller, so the shorts fits snugly on the upper part and loose and floppy on the lower end.
They recommend sizing up when not sure about the size, I ended up buying 2 shorts with different sizes and neither fit perfectly.
I had an issue with international shipping when I wanted to exchange for a better size, I demanded I pay the return shipping and the fees for the new shipping which seemed unreasonable, So I recommend they stop shipping internationally or put better return policies.
