Inspired by the triathlete, made for running, the all new Makai provides a fast transition with a stable responsive ride. A Z-Lock lace system with both speed lace and standard lace provides custom fit options for both racing and training. With a molded 3D heel counter and a Barefit lining, the Makai has a secure fit for those speedy transitions. Unique dual density Z-Bound and ZVA placed in the Heel to Toe creates a responsive rebound for a mid-foot strike and added cushion. With mild posting, your feet will feel light, secure, and supportive for race day performance or intense interval workouts. 8mm drop. 8.2 oz.

• Midsole/Outsole: Unique dual density Z-Bound‰ã¢ and ZVA placed in a Heel to Toe configuration with great rebound for mid-foot strike and added cushioning when heel striking. Constant ground contact provides mid-foot support with a Medial Post for guidance. Carbon Rubber tread gives the outsole lightweight, durable traction.
