I've had these shorts for about a month and a half. I've swam in them approximately 10 times. I follow all the post care instructions that were provided with the shorts. They have multiple tears developing at the crease of my thighs, so I contacted customer service as they have a 2 year warranty. After talking to customer service they let me know that it is my fault for putting them on too aggressively using my fingers so it wouldn't be covered under warranty. Essentially they won't back their product. I don't put them on aggressively, I just put them on. I'm not yanking, I don't have fingernails. When I asked how I should put them on without using my fingers, the rep said "yeah you're just being too aggressive." I have surfed for years, used wetsuits and this is a first for me where a wetsuit tears after a month of use just from putting it on. Also these breaks in the material are all concentrated at my thigh crease on the front of the shorts, none on the back, so apparently I only put them on aggressively on the front of my body somehow. I couldn't be more disappointed in such poor product backing, warranty and customer service.
I typically do not write reviews unless a product exceeds my expectations. I’m fairly new to swimming and have always struggled in completing 100 m freestyle without stopping. These shorts solved that problem! It allow me to stay in the streamline position and work on the catch/ pull. Great investment if you want to focus on your technique. My only feedback is to lengthen the drawstring cord.
