The design is really nice but the fit is incredibly tight. It has gotten a bit better a few wears, but generally still too uncomfortable for me to wear at a race.
I typically get a size small (height: 5’4, weight: 115lbs), and this one was just too small.
I chose this suit because I really liked the design. But otherwise I’m not really sure it’s worth the cost. It runs small. I would normally wear a medium/large and I had to return to get an XL. The material isn’t as high quality as I would expect for the cost of the suit.
I ordered a few different sizes and styles from Zoot and found that these new Elite styles are cut way smaller in the legs than older styles.
For example, I am a MEDIUM in the Women's Ltd Tri Aero Fz Racesuit, and I could -barely- fit into the LARGE of this Women’s Elite Tri Aero Fz Racesuit. The large was very tight in the legs and loose in the top. I thought that maybe I got a wrongly sized/tagged suit, but they all seem to be cut the same for the Elite line (I ordered a medium and large in both of the Elite colorways - Chromoflow and Vapor White). For reference, I am 5’5” 150 lbs and am a medium according to the size chart based on measurements.
I’ve included a picture of the LARGE Elite Racesuit laid over the MEDIUM Ltd Tri Aero Racesuit - there are noticeable differences in the legs.
NOTE: The Men’s line seems to be unaffected. My husband ordered the same suits (Ltd and Elite) in the men’s line and did not have an issue with sizing. He stated that the legs on the Elite Racesuit were more snug but still comfortable.
