Shoes run small. If you are between sizes, go up, not down.

        Comments about Zoot Sports Men's Ali'i 14:

The Ali'i 14 is perfect for training runs and races of all distances. The sole provides a lot of cushion at a 6mm heel to toe drop which is perfect for a forefront runner but still leaves some cushion when you get tired in a marathon and heel strike. The soft wire Boa and the dial are in a great location that you don't feel them yet they keep you secure in the shoe. If your feet swell in heat, the Boa is easy to pop open to let your foot expand and then re-tension to keep the shoe from moving on you. The upper stitching is perfect for sockless running up to a marathon. A little Body Glide on the heel and Achilles will help prevent any rubbing at all. The shoes are still light enough for sprint and 5k races and cushioned enough to get you through an Ironman or marathon. As a forefront runner that strikes the outside toebox are first then roll to the midfoot, I can usually get about 150 miles before I notice the cushioning has worn and causing a bit of instability and forcing more of a roll from the outside edge. If you hit flat or slightly inside edge (pigeon toed), then your mileage should be significantly more than 150 miles as the shoes have a bit of rubber covering the EVA foam in that spot.

            Comments about Zoot Sports Men's Ali'i 14:

I was skeptical when the shoes first arrived. I previously worn the TT5's and wasn't sure I liked the design of the ali'i. That all charged in the middle of my first run. The shoe is great! Comfortable, fits perfect, easy to get in n out of, and the performance is great. U can't ask for for in a shoe.

                Comments about Zoot Sports Men's Ali'i 14:

I love this shoe. Much improved on last years version of this great shoe. Better BOA placement and most importantly to me, a little more cushioning in the heel.
