Very nice, not for women under 5’

Ultimately, this is a very nice race suit. Well made, nice fabric, good design and details. The leg grippers are the kind that stay in place without digging and the zipper garage is always appreciated to keep the top of the zipper from rubbing my collarbone.

I wish I didn’t have to return it, but I will because it fits too long. Helping my fellow short ladies out here: if you’re under 5’/maybe 5’1” you’ll probably have the same problem. I’m 4’10 and about 100 pounds and got the XS. The suit fits nicely as far as my width goes, so to speak, could be a little more snug around the middle but that’s not the issue. I have an average length torso but the suit is too long for my height still. It’s saggy and baggy in the crotch, and if I pull up on that area of the suit to snug things up, the chest and shoulder straps are loose and floppy. I suspect gravity would end up pulling things back down, especially when the fabric is wet.

I’ve learned the hard way that bagginess in the crotch of cycling/tri shorts is not only bothersome while riding/running, but it can be a chafing nightmare no matter how much butter/glide/slick/slide you use.

I’m at one far end of the size spectrum so I somewhat expected this problem. It is no fault of the garment itself, it’s just short girl life! If you too, are wondering if it will be too long for your petite frame, you might want to stick with the two-piece ensemble as I will have to.

On a side note, Zoot’s core 6” tri shorts fit great in all areas, I got an XS as well for those and they’re staying with me! I have yet to try the coordinating tank for those shorts; we’ll see …
